I am happy to say that buying our puppy from MorningSmile Labradoodles was pure joy. Tai is knowledgeable, kind and completely committed to the highest standards of breeding healthy, happy and well-adjusted dogs. I did my research - Tai adheres to the appropriate Codes of Ethics in breeding these dogs - she offers a genetic guarantee which none of the other local breeds do. Tai raises her pups in her home - not outside, or in a kennel - so you can be assured you are welcoming a new family member who is ready to join an active household.
We found Tai to provide excellent customer service, and exceeded my expectations. She welcomed us to "meet the parents" so we could see Brio's genetics live and in person! She answered all our questions thoroughly, and remains available to us even now to ensure we have the information we need to provide Brio with the best possible care.
Brio is the intelligent, playful, and inquisitive puppy we expected him to be. The fact he could sit on command when he arrived was more than we anticipated. Our vet found him to be in perfect health on his 12 week check up, and was amazed at the quality of the "puppy package" Tai sent along prior to Brio's arrival. The products Tai recommended are the same that the vet herself would choose.
This whole experience has been wonderful, and I offer unsolicited recommendations for Tai whenever I can. Her pups are of the highest quality and she gives fantastic support and service.
Thanks Tai for our precious little boy!

Morning Smile Labradoodles,
I did research on dogs for a very long time. I have allergies, and need non-shedding animals. I have a Maltese which does not bother my allergies at all. I decided that Labradoodles might be the way to go. I researched a lot of breeders on these dogs, and found the best and easiest one to deal with was Morning Smile.
I had a ton of questions and concerns regarding these dogs and Tai handled all of my concerns, with professionalism and care. Once we decided to go with them, and one of Tai's females was expecting a litter. We reserved a puppy.
The entire time Gracie was pregnant I continued with questions and emails. Tai always responded very quickly and was able to answer all of my questions.
It was so much fun waiting for the birth of these puppies. Once they were born, she sent us tons of updates and pictures. From every step of the way. We were informed of all of their tests and vet visits, and had tons of great pictures, every week of their development. I would highly recommend Morning Smile Labradoodles to anyone that was thinking of getting a new family member. These puppies are raised in the home, and have the most amazing temperaments you could ever imagine.
Tai is like a real Mother to these Puppies, and I have never seen anyone so completely loving and caring to an animal before. I have never had any problems with my allergies, and our dog is the most loving dog I have ever been around. He has the most gorgeous fleece coat and stops people in their tracks when we go on our walks. He is friendly to all people and dogs alike. He loves kids and loves life.
Thank you Tai, for the most precious new family member ever!

Emmitt from Minnesota! Tai Goldman is to be commended for her care, placement and love for her pets and their puppies. She is a tremendous breeder and extremely conscientious pertaining to all aspects of the adoption process. As many people are adopting their first labradoodle, we can attest complete satisfaction for our new addition, Emmitt. We have had labs all our lives and this is a new and truly wonderful experience. Emmitt is everything we hoped he would be; smart, cuddly, lively and social. We have a 12 year old lab and there are several other dogs in the neighborhood; Emmitt plays, socializes and fits right in! At home he snuggles and shows lots of personality with an excellent temperament. Other labradoodles we have encountered are F1's, new to their breeders, and there seems to be uncertainty with "what" you can expect. Tai is knowledgeable, has a great line with the Australian Labradoodles and takes tremendous care with her dogs and their puppies. You are assured to adopt a puppy from Tai that meets your lifestyle and exceeds your expectations, even if she is a cannuck! Truly a top-notch breeder, you can't go wrong with Morningsmilelabradoodles.

To whom it may concern;
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Tai Goldman of Morning Smile Labradoodles for her wonderful and very professional handling on the sale of our breeding female puppy we purchased from her. "DeeDee" is our little ALF6 medium size puppy sired by DaVinci and out of Circe.
Tai was so great to deal with from beginning to end. She kept us informed every step of the way and when problems came up (mama Circe got sick) she was very up front and honest with us.
She offered help and assistance in all aspects of our purchase and has continued to be a friend and helper. Before, during and after the sale she has been there for us.
Even though I have never met Tai in person, I feel she is a very good friend and when a business transaction is finished it is so good to be able to say that. I know we will continue to stay in touch and be associates in the Labradoodle breeding business for many years to come.
I have no hesitation to give the highest recommendation to Tai Goldman of Morning Smile Labradoodles. I would trust her completely and would not hesitate to purchase from her again. Her breeder dogs have had all the recommended tests and then some. She goes overboard to make sure she is only producing the highest quality puppies for both pets and breeders. She tests for many things some breeders have never even heard of, it is this extra effort that makes her so outstanding.

I highly recommend Morning Smile Labradoodles and have only praise for the entire experience. Before I found Morning Smile I had contacted countless breeders searching for labradoodles only to be told it would either be at least a year long process or my e-mails just went unanswered. Tai responded right away, was honest from the start and then kept continual e-mail contact. I knew that when we finally got our puppy we would be thrilled - which we were. There is no doubt they take excellent care of their dogs and take the breeding process very seriously. Our puppy, Cody, was an angel from the start and after only five weeks we can't imagine life without him.

Having a pet is the first time for our family. We were looking for non-shedding and medium size doggie. Labradoodle is what we were looking for. When we met her, we were very delighted and satisfied. She was so cute. Our children, teenagers, learning responsibility looking after puppy. All of us are having fun with her. All people noticed her stop and say she is beautiful, elegant, adorable, etc. We are really proud of her.

Well, finally the long awaited day arrived on Dec. 16th. Our adorable little "Tucker" arrived. We had watched him grow up over the weeks while he learned all the necessities from his great Mom - Meadow. Tai we can't thank you enough for all the photos and emails along the way, it really helped the wait go quickly. My daughter ran home every Monday as that was the day each week when you sent new photos and updates on the puppy's progress. He was immediately a hit with our daughter and all our friends. He wins over the hearts of everyone he meets. Never having had a puppy before, we had a fair bit of learning to do. The books you recommended were great as was the one you gave us in the puppy package. It quickly became our authority on puppy raising and we've read it cover to cover a few times. Now that we've had Tucker in our family for a few weeks I can certainly not imagine life without him. I expect our cats wouldn't mind but they too are getting used to him. He is so gentle and while he loves to play, he is careful not to bite and responds quickly to the training we've begun.
I have really enjoyed your quick response to all my many silly questions and you've made this puppy adoption so successful with your kindness, caring and helpfulness. I know the puppies were very well cared for and loved before their adoption by the families and it shows in our Tucker's mannerisms. I think you did a great job of matching our family with a great puppy and we thank you very much.
Thanks also for the ongoing support and advice you are still providing. It's true that a Morning Smile puppy is a fantastic puppy to have as part of any family.

When our family first thought about owning a puppy we did a lot of research. We looked at breeds, compatibility, size, etc. After stumbling upon the name Labradoodle in our quest for the perfect pup we came across Tai's site, Morning Smile Labradoodles. We found Tai to be an excellent reference in our search for the newest member of our family. She answered all our questions quickly and thoroughly. When it came time to request one of Tai's pups we were pleasantly surprised at how careful she was in making sure one of her pups ended up in the right home and with the right family.
After being approved for a pup we were kept in constant contact with regular updates and plenty of pictures...post pregnancy.
The level of service provided by Morning Smile Labradoodles was nothing short of excellent. Tai took care of all the details, everything from arranging the flight of our pup to providing food and toys for her journey. I think we really knew we were dealing with a first class breeder when Keely arrived at the airport, in her puppy crate, and with blanket, toys, food for two weeks and very healthy and happy. I would personally recommend Tai Goldman and Morning Smile Labradoodles to anyone seriously interested in having these amazing dogs as part of their family. We are very happy and I know you will be too.

We can't thank you enough for the most perfect puppy in the world! The whole procedure was handled very personally and professionally from the very first interaction with you. Everything from your weekly email updates and pictures of our bouncing little pup to the care package you sent along with the very informative book on raising puppies has been an extraordinarily wonderful experience. So much so, that when we finally held our new labradoodle in our arms, we felt like we had known him all along! :)
We are thrilled beyond belief that you nurtured our sweet puppy for the most tender moments of his life. He has turned into the most adorable, lovable and obedient creature all from your loving and intelligent care.
--Thanks from the bottom of our hearts! Cyndi & Patrick, Fairfield, CT USA |
Sadie came to live with us in July. Puppies don't come any more beautiful. From the moment we picked her up at the airport, her tail was wagging. She was so friendly and well adjusted. She did not cry at night or shy from her crate.
As a professioanl librarian, I did a fair bit of research before contacting Morning Smiles Labradoodles. From the moment that Tai received our application up to the present, she has been great. The silly questions we had and the ridiculous pictures we are still sending were well received.
Morning Smiles prepared out family for Sadie's arrival. All of it was awesome. My daughter (age 4) and I waited for the puppies' birth and followed their progress until Sadie arrived. Sadie's parents' pictures are still on our fridge as we monitor Sadie's growth and try to decide to whom she owes her adorable features. The puppy-training book is still on the kitchen table as we refer to it frequently! The package that arrived before Sadie, included her papers, toys and food and served to heighten the excitement. The books that Tai recommended were great and are favourites.
Sadie is a good girl and a fantastic friend for Molly. She is thriving in our home. She is definitely part of the family. Tai has been fantastic and her expertise is renown: the owner of Maggie, a black lab puppy at our leash free park, spoke highly of Tai when learning Sadie's background. I have no hesitation recommending Tai and Morning Smiles Labradoodles.

Our family has had a such a positive experience with Tai and Morning Smile Labradoodles. We had been wanting a Labradoodle for a long time and just happened to come across Morning Smile Labradoodles when doing a web search. They had puppy availability, so I contacted them. The process was very simple and enjoyable. Tai was always very honest, knowlegable and thorough. She always answered any questions we had quickly and with plenty of information and detail. The whole experience was very positive for my whole family and especially my kids. We loved hearing about how Mommy Gracy was doing pre-delivery and post. We checked our email daily for pictures of the new puppies. My kids were so excited every time we received an update. They had fun trying to guess which puppy would be ours before the puppies were assigned to families. Tai did a wonderful job matching our puppy, Bogey to us. She spent time talking to us and finding out exactly what we were looking for in a puppy. Tai even continues to contact us after 9 months just to check-in and to let us know she is there if we ever need her. Bogey is wonderful. He has a beautiful non-shedding coat. He is affectionate, loves kids and just enjoys being around people. We couldn't ask for a better dog!!! We would highly recommend Tai and her puppies at Morning Smile Labradoodle!

Late in the fall of 05' my wife and I were getting frustrated with being on a long waiting list for a multi-gen Australian Labradoodle. In a discussion with our South Florida breeder she mentioned that a small breeder in B.C. Canada, "Morning Smile Labradoodles," might have a puppy available from an upcoming litter. We were exited about the prospect of speeding up the process but were concered about dealing with an unfamiliar breeder thousands of miles away. Her response was "If its a Tai Goldman puppy you have nothing to worry about."
From our very first contact with Tai our experience has been only positive. It was clear from the outset she was not only an expert in breeding dogs but truly professional in every sense of the word. From several weeks before birth, throughout the birthing and weaning process we received weekly e-mail communications with pictures, tracking the progress of "Natalie" ( birth mother ) and her litter. The regular communication were reassuring not only because we were being kept informed but also because it was evident that Tai cared as much as we did about our puppies welfare. To her, raising Labradoodles is much more than just a career.
Once our puppy ( Winston ) was selected, e-mails were more concentrated on him but we also got to follow the growth of his litter mates right up to shipping day. Of course, we were nervous about a nine week old puppy taking a such a long trip, but he arrived in Florida as promised, safe and sound, complete with all shots and paperwork in perfect order. ( We discovered that Winston has a longer trackable lineage than either my wife or I.)
In less than half a year Winston has done a remarkable job of filling the hole in our empty nest. We have raised many dogs over the years and all of them were special, but Winston is the most fun loving, happy, and affectionate puppy I have ever known. The joy that he has brought to our home cannot be measured. It must be true that "If its a Tai Goldman puppy you have nothing to worry about.

Hi Tai, Please feel free to distribute this letter to anyone who may be interested in adopting a Labradoodle puppy.
By the time we decided to adopt a puppy from Morning Smile Labradoodles, we had researched and talked to many multi-generational Labradoodle breeders in BC, Alberta and Washington. We even made e-mail and phone enquiries to Tegan Park and Rutland Manor in Australia. After two months of research, phone calls, e-mails and a visit to see how you raised your dogs, we decided that Morning Smile Labradoodles would be our best choice.
We told you we wanted a Labradoodle that was non-shedding, slightly athletic, intelligent, with a good temperament and in the 30-35 pound range. Ginny is now almost eight months old and we can honestly say that you have provided us with a dog that has met, and exceeded, all our expectations.
When Ginny first arrived at our home, she was so affectionate, playful and eager-to-please that everyone in the family fell in love with her. We were amazed that, on the very first day in our home, you could put your finger in her mouth and she would only gently mouth your finger, but never bite. We began crate-training her on the first night and she adapted immediately and didn't whine, bark or soil her crate. Because Ginny was so ready for crate-training, she quickly became house-trained. You did an amazing job preparing her for her new home.
Many people who visit our home comment on how Ginny is so beautiful, smart, friendly and well-behaved. They are even more impressed when they find out that Ginny is absolutely non-shedding. Whenever we take Ginny for a walk, we invariably have three or four strangers come up and remark on Ginny's beautiful fur coat and lady-killer good looks. We have now taken Ginny through puppy classes and a first set of obedience classes and she has learned very quickly how to respond to both voice and hand signals. She is so obedient and friendly that one of our relatives who dislikes dogs has told us that a dog like Ginny is one dog she wouldn't mind owning. Our neighbours and relatives have been so impressed with Ginny that we now have standing offers to look after her if we are away.
Ginny is an amazing dog in every respect. We firmly believe that this is a result of your excellent breeding practices, the top-notch parent dogs you have and the fine upbringing that you give your puppies in their formative weeks. We never dreamed that our puppy could be so perfect. Thank you so much for letting us adopt Ginny.
Sincerely, Jack Wong - Vancouver, BC |
To who it may concern:
This is a heartfelt letter of recommendation for Tai of Morning Smile Labradoodles. I have worked closely with Tai for almost 4 years now. My beautiful girl Morning Smile Soul is from Tai and my experience was that she is very professional, knowledgeable about this breed and very honest. I would happily obtain another dog from Tai with complete confidence in her ability to find an equally wonderful match. My puppy arrived at the Airport with confidence as though she had been traveling her entire life! I know how very much Tai loves her dogs and I believe that this love influenced my girl's sense of confidence.
In addition to obtaining my puppy from Tai, I have worked with her as a colleague. I know how motivated Tai is to produce the healthiest breed imaginable. I am fully aware of how important it is for her to only proceed with breeding kids that are fully tested and have the true Australian Labradoodle temperament.
I would be happy to answer any additional questions. I may be reached at: bonnie@heartsonglabradoodles.com.

Letter of Referral for Tai Goldman, Morning Smile Labradoodles
The decision to bring a dog into one's family is not a small one. Like many others, we took our time to research various breeds, talk to dog owners and evaluate our own family's lifestyle. I was in contact with breeders in Eastern Canada, the United States, Central Canada and others in British Columbia. After all was said and done, the one breeder I kept coming back to was Morning Smile Labradoodles - Tai Goldman.
It is also a thought that breeders only put the "positive" letters of referral on their website. This had occurred to me but it wasn't long before I was completely sold and totally confident that Tai Goldman was the one for us. I am honestly not sure how there could be any "negative" letters as we have been so impressed. The statements to follow are written with a deep respect for Tai as a result of our experience in adopting a puppy from her program. Perhaps these comments will help you to feel more confident in making what is definitely a very important decision.
a) I was in contact with Tai two years before our actual purchase. Every step of the way, she provided honest and sensible answers to my many, many questions. The emails were returned within a day but in many cases within a few hours. No question was too small or bothersome.
b) Her advice was always logical and made sense for our family. She is concerned that her puppies fit your family and will do what she can to make that match a positive one. She watches each pup's personality develop and from there can make a match that is the best. Our little guy has been perfect for us.
c) She provided regular emails once the mama pup was "with child".
d) Weekly emails from birth to delivery date were a highlight. Photos, information on the mother's health and the puppies' progress heightened the excitement but also reassured us that we had made the right choice.
e) Tai's business sense is organized and efficient. She provided paperwork and receipts as the various steps evolved. A booklet of our puppy's pedigree along with pages of advice, recommendations for reading, documentation of veterinarian visits, continued to make the procedure effortless for us.
f) Clearly, the work of a breeder involves dedication and many long hours, especially after birth. The photos impressed me not only by the "cuteness" of the puppies but their area was always immaculate and clean. You can bet they started life in a wonderful environment and the growth from week to week was positive and healthy.
g) Every vet appointment has been a good one. He impressed our vet with his calmness and friendly nature. By the way, Gordon does not bark! Well, to be a little more accurate, the only time he will bark is if he is concerned about something (seeing his own shadow in the window at night, young kids screaming). I can count a total of about 8 times that he has barked since we got him in June.
h) Would I get another dog from Tai? Without doubt, absolutely and I am already thinking of it. We will wait a bit perhaps until we no longer have kitties (hard to think of that) but I would never choose any other breeder as long as I wanted a labradoodle. You won't regret your choice with Morning Smile.
